Mad Greens Lakeway

Love the panini's!!! Big fresh salads. My only wish is that they carried different drinks. The soda machine has terrible flavors. Everything thing else is fantastic!!!

I 'm not really a salad kind of guy but I 've been trying to get more veggies and good for yous than meat as much as possible. When my wife asked if I wanted to try MAD Greens I said yes, but if I didn 't like it I would get something else. I ordered the Santa Fe Wrap, which has a little flank steak inside it along with the other things listed on the menu and got them to add quinoa as well. It was very good. Not as good as some Porterhouse Steaks I 've tried but certainly healthier, particularly if you don 't go overboard on the Cilantro Lime dressing that comes with it (order it on the side, 1/2 of what they give you is plenty). We 've been eating hummus since waaaaay before it became a thing, and the restaurant had a Hummus Trio that was okay, some unusual flavors, but nothing that would make me crave it more than a traditional regular, easy to make at home version. The food is good enough that even people from my generation will like it. Probably. Maybe. Like all restaurants in Lakeway it is a little pricey but they have to pay for the rental space with the magnificent view of the strip mall parking lot. Still gave it 5 stars for variety, freshness, taste, and the service. We knew what it would cost in advance so they don 't lose any points for that. Sorry in advance for the poor quality of the pics but I didn 't think about taking them until I 'd already started eating. You get the idea though.

Clean food has a bit of a wait sometimes but they have good service

This was my first visit to MAD Greens. The Lakeway location was super convenient to get to and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I had the Ty Cob salad and it was outstanding. We also had the hummus and pita, and it was very tasty as well. Also sampled the broccoli cheese soup and it was delicious. Will definitely be back.
