Bidrage med feedbackWe were looking forward to ding at the Ferryman's Seafood Café, but unfortunately it was closed for the winter to do maintenance. Maybe next time we're in the area we'll give it a try because it looks an exquisite place to dine and prices seem very reasonable
We just went there for a coffee and cake in the afternoon and it was great we had a beautiful view and great service
Go and enjoy Ferryman's. The food is great and the outlook cant get any better, coupled with great service you can't go wrong!
Occasionally you find a waiter who is providing service but so friendly that you feel you've known them for a long time and brought a smile to our faces. The Jamaican fish soup was amazing. Incredibly tasty and very filling. Could not finish it. Lots of seafood with a perfect balance of spices, vegetables and the prawn dumplings in the soup were a delightful surprise. The special of rockling with basil pesto, sweet potato, spinach and blueberry was yummo. Yes blueberry. It worked. All the meal was cooked to perfection. We took a piece of Banoffee pie (banana and toffee) away for later. It was also delish. The fish platter looked appealing but was pieced out of our reach. We thoroughly recommend this restaurant.
We ate here on Friday night and overall I would say it was above average. Service was a bit slow at times but the food was pretty good. My seafood soup was delicious, chock full of seafood, just slightly underseasoned. Others in our party generally enjoyed their dishes and staff were more attentive as the night rolled on.
