Albert & Co - LAKES ENTRANCE

Great opportunities to breakfast just as good if not better, then some of the best brunch spots in melbourne. the workers were amazing, although it was super busy, they kept their cool and kept the eating and coffee coming on a high standard. can't wait to come back!

The food and service at this restaurant were excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful, providing immediate assistance and supervision. The QR code ordering system made the dining experience simple and efficient. The food and coffee were excellent, meeting all expectations for a modern café breakfast. Compared to average experiences at cafés in beach towns, especially during high season, this place was a pleasant surprise. The relaxed atmosphere and generous brunch menu made for a great start to the new year.

We visited Albert Co on New Year's Day and despite it being busy, there was plenty of space. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. They also offer the option to order and pay using a QR code on the table, which makes things convenient. We will definitely be returning in the future.

I stopped in for a light lunch while my cousin went for her usual walk. She had taken me there for coffee and scones on my first day in the Lakes. There was a slight mix-up with the order, but it was quickly resolved by the polite staff. Dining alone, I was seated by a friendly young lady. As I perused the menu, I opted for eggs benedict, one of my favorite light dishes, and a pot of Earl Grey tea. While the order arrived promptly and looked pleasant, upon closer inspection, I noticed that there was no hollandaise sauce on my dish. The toast was excessively hard, and the speck was not cooked to my liking. Despite my efforts to enjoy the meal, it was quite bland and resembled little more than a basic poached egg on toast with speck. When I mentioned these issues to the cashier, she apologized and mentioned that I should have spoken up sooner, although I could see that they were short-staffed. I was disappointed, especially after a previous mishap during my first visit. Overall, the experience could have been much better, and I will not be returning or recommending this establishment.

What a nice little spot! A+ for the umbrellas that provided fantastic shade in the heatwave! The food was pretty quick coming out and it was a huge dish! Tasted so fresh!
