Hooters - Lakeland

Atmosphere is great. service was great. I have the nachos, but they are not like other hooter I was. had not all toppings had a normal loaded nachos app. chips were a bit stale.

I absolutely love wings and, if you're an avid wing eater like me, you know that if the crispness or sauce isn't right, it ruins everything! The wings were good and flavoring was good, but the breading could have been more crispy. I paid extra to have both blue cheese and ranch, they gave me ranch only. Disappointed in the carry out service. I ordered wings that took about 30 min, according to the online site. That's a bit of a wait, but that was okay. When I arrived, my wings were obviously done because I showed up past the 30 min. Upon entering, I stood at the host booth for about 8 min; which is 3 ft from the bar. One employee at the bar was talking to a friend, looked at me and continued talking. Another employee was sweeping the bar area. Finally a waitress came over and told me that you pick up carry-out food at the bar. The young lady at the bar came over to ask the name on my order. No greeting, could barely hear what the total was, and she handed me the food and just went right back over to finish talking. Not the best first impression. There's too many other local restaurants and wing joints with similar food, yet better prices and service.

Food was mediocre at best. Curly fries were not curly or hot. Sent back for some fresh and forget the curly, just say curved. Wings were Luke warm mixed with some ridiculously small wings. Brought to managers attention and she seemed not concerned or even understand my complaint. Replaced with some regular sized wings. Didn’t help I watched our food sitting on counter waiting to be served. The place was empty on a Saturday afternoon yet service lacked. Been many years since I’ve been there and won’t bother going back.

I absolutely LOVE this Hooters location. The Hooters Girls are so sweet and the food is seriously delicious. Compliments to the chef! I highly recommend this location.

Alexis, my waitress was really cool, and very gorgeous! Oh yeah…. And the wings were good too??
