Golden Corral - Lakeland

I grew up to go to golden corals and no matter what people are always beautiful and the food is always good:

Being out on the road traveling for work it's hard to find a good home cooked meal. The food, and customer service were great! For a minute it felt like Sunday dinner at grandma's house . I highly recommend the pot roast. #SATexas

The staff are great! The food is mediocre. The french toast has good flavor but it's a little hard. I didn't try the pancakes but they are not soft and fluffy so I passed. If you compare Golden Corral to Fred's Market, Fred's wins hands down for buffet. I was here for breakfast. I LOVE bacon, the reason I went to go to buffets, but I didn't care for the bacon here. Didn't even finish what was on the plate. UPDATE: I changed it to 4 stars from 3 stars. It was much better today. The pancakes were fluffy. Bacon was really great! The omelet was very good.

We visited frequently, and the breakfast buffet is fantastic, especially the delicious crispy bacon. I've gotten to know most of the waitstaff, and I can honestly say they are all wonderful people who excel at their jobs.

Fantastic food and excellent service! I always request Hope as my waitress when I visit; she's truly wonderful. The ribs and wings were incredible today, just like they always are. Looking forward to coming back next Sunday!
