Frescos Southern Kitchen - Lakeland

We visited Frisco's on a bustling Saturday morning, but were seated quickly. Since we had a baby and a stroller, we appreciated how friendly and accommodating the staff was in granting us easy access. The Mimosas were delicious, featuring a great selection of seasonal flavors. I tried the seasonal prickly pear Mumosa, which I highly recommend—it’s a refreshing twist on a classic brunch drink. While the menu didn’t have many strict vegetarian options, it was easy to modify some dishes, and I ended up ordering the Beyond Burger from the lunch menu. We also shared a delightful sweet bread for the table. Overall, it’s a lovely spot for outdoor dining, with excellent service and fresh food!

The food was incredibly flavorful, and the service was excellent. My husband particularly appreciated the design inspired by Kentucky Bourbon. The short ribs with cauliflower mash were fantastic. He usually takes my side when it comes to ordering, and he chose the tea-brined chicken, which he really liked (though not quite as much as my dish). We also ordered the deviled eggs as an appetizer, and they were delicious with bacon on top.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food, service, and atmosphere were all outstanding. We tried the buffalo cauliflower, the T-bone pork belly, and the sweet tea marinated chicken (yes, you read that correctly!), and every dish was fantastic. The pork was slightly lacking in flavor, but the accompanying apples and filling more than compensated for it! The drinks were excellent, and dessert was delicious as well. An added bonus is their dog-friendly terrace, where they provided a fresh water bowl and several homemade treats for our pup!

My work trip led me through Lakeland and the doctor with whom I was very recommended to have eaten for lunch in Frescos and I am sure he did. My favorite sandwich....the reubs was on the menu and I must say it's one of the best I ever had. It's a simple sandwich, but it's not always right, but Frescos nailed it. The next time I'm here, I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

Such a cute place! We had brunch and bottomless mimosas and everything was divine! We had so much fun together for our FIRST date and also had great conversation and laughs with the staff despite how busy they were! Def plan to come back!
