Bellys Cafe - Lakeland

I know in this day and age it’s hard to be a business owner but this place was doomed since the day they opened the doors! The food was mediocre at best. Plus when you went in to order there was obvious total disorganization behind the counter. They would randomly shut down on different days of their choice. I’ve witnessed people walking up to the door and pulling on the handle only to find the place is locked up and then they have to find somewhere else to go on their half hour lunch break. They have been shut down for well over a month now and their answering machine still isn’t even updated to let people know that they are out of business. I think it’s a very unprofessional way to conduct business. They do have another shop way across town but needless to say I won’t be going there.

Great place. Great people. Coffee not so great and there was no non dairy option. My sandwich was good. I wish they would grill the bagel before assembling the sandwich. I want to go back and try the spinach and tomato breakfast sandwich.

The food at this restaurant is exceptional - fresh and delicious. The service was very friendly and quick. I am excited to see what new dishes this charming family-owned establishment will bring to our city.

My son treated me to lunch at this fantastic deli. They have the best sandwiches in Polk County - they are overfilled and delicious. And while you're there, be sure to try the bagels, because they are amazing! I can't praise this place enough - you definitely don't want to miss out on it. Yum!!!

We have been looking for a bagel place for the last 5 months. We finally found this place today. It was definitely worth the drive over! The bagels were fresh. I got the salmon on a plain bagel and the person I was with got the breakfast bagel with ham on plain. They also ordered a blueberry bagel. We will definitely be back. The staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable. They have several options for breakfast, lunch and deserts. It looks like they make their own cream cheese as well.
