City Star Family - Lake Wales

My first time at City Star. I ordered on line for pickup. The site ask if I wanted ASAP or a later time. I chose a later time at 5 o clock. I went in at 5 to pick it up and the lady said I was ready to call to see if anyone was going to pick it up, it has been ready quite awhile. I told her it was suppose to be for 5 o clock. She said we don 't get the time, we prepare it when the order comes in. I told her "that 's not a good way to do business. She said it 's not us, it 's them. I don 't know who them is. Anyway the food was cold and the French fries were not done. The Catfish was good although cold. I sure won 't order from here on line again for a later time.

This place is great! Proportions are Hugh. Food is very tasty. Best chicken parmesan I ever had. (Garlic toast no good) waitress have always been good and intentive.Food: 5/5

Great catfish! Fresh food! The fried squash was amazing. Service was on point. HOWEVER, don’t ask for substitutions cause the chef was pretty angry and vocal about it. All they had to say was “I’m sorry we can’t do that”? Other than that it was a great place to eat while in Lake Wales.

Unfortunately a bad experience. The only thing that was good was the waitress even though she got drink order wrong. Salad served was frozen . Main meal was a huge portion of Shrimp Alfredo but had a peculiar foul odor. Taste was even worse. We didn't eat it. The place definitely needs an uplift. Broken shades etc. Looks like at one time it was a happening place. The waitress and gentlemen at the check out stand was very nice about our issue and there was no charge. We won't go back....

This place had the absolute worst breakfast. The food was burnt and tasted disgusting. My orange juice was awful and the strawberries on my French toast was literally just canned pie filling. Also our waitress spent most of the time socializeing and ignoring us.
