Half chicken BBQ with 2 sides is good but the place was closed too often

The worst rib tips I have ever eaten. Salty, overcooked dried out nothings . Carter's tried to blame it on how long GrubHub came to pick it up.

I'm from DC went and tried Carters.I had collar greens and peach cobbler. I didn't like it the greens taste and smell like chittlins and the peach cobbler had a burn taste.They need me and my sister in their kitchen. But the guy at the window was nice.

The food wasn't for me.. but the service is great and there is always a friendly face or two while you catch a break. They serve a Carolina style pulled pork, you can sit at picnic tables or even have a family picnic on the sloped grassy lawn. Mature oaks and Spanish moss, clear blue skies and it works for a family weekend or a quick respite from the busy unrelenting work week.

My family and I went there by recommendation by a neighbor it was everything they said. Awesome, Delicious, Courteous, the price we great. The owner mr. Carter was so nice and staff also the menu was so southern everything that I've been looking for they had it and some. First time there it won't be our last can't wait to go back.
