Starbucks - Lake Oswego

I had a disappointing experience at this Starbucks, which makes me hesitant to come back. I placed an online order and asked if I needed to show my receipt to pick up my drink, but the barista responded in a condescending way, as if my question was unimportant. When I arrived, I wasn't greeted, and nobody wished me a nice day, even though I was polite and thanked them for my drink. Maybe they were having a tough day, but I believe that good customer service and kindness are essential, especially during challenging times. *On top of that, my drink was made incorrectly.*

I observed the staff treating a homeless person very poorly. He wasn't bothering anyone; I only noticed because I heard the employees yelling at him. He was rummaging through the dumpster for food or maybe cans. The staff became quite agitated and called the police. This kind of behavior doesn't sit well with me, and I can't support such a policy. From now on, I'll be enjoying my tea at a different place.

I thoroughly enjoyed everything I ordered, except for the coffee. The service was outstanding; the barista was extremely kind and did everything possible to accommodate my dietary restrictions. The only downside was that the coffee had a burnt taste, which appears to be a common problem with Starbucks coffee.

This used to be my favorite spot, but it has rapidly declined. I'm not sure what's going on. I'm not particularly picky, but lately, every drink we've ordered has been incorrect. Additionally, the staff has been quite rude and even downright unfriendly. I understand that customer service can be a tough job, but I'm generally a nice person and I'm more than willing to leave generous tips. Mitch is consistently great, but unfortunately, he’s not always around.

The restaurant is of average size and is well-kept. Parking is quite good, especially for those looking to grab their morning coffee between 6 AM and 8 AM. I would definitely recommend a visit; I’ve been there at different times and have found that the best service and seating options are usually around noon and in the evenings. Mornings can get pretty busy, even on weekends.
