Ice Spot - Lake Mary

Red velvet cake was stale and tasted like dish soap. Not kidding

This place is really good, its a little different because they roll their ice cream but you do get very generous helpings and you get to pick lots of different toppings. I like the smore please As well as the monkey business ice cream choice, but the frozen hot chocolate was just a little watery. I think there was a bit too much ice in the mix all together. But other than that the ice cream was good the portions are generous and everything was pretty tasty

Good ice-cream, the labor intense process is fun to watch and it explains the high price point. Thee staff are clearly young and used to the digital age of no conversation/eye contact. No greeting or conversation of any kind other than calling the name of the customer when order is ready. Orders are put into an iPad, no communication necessary. My kids were excited by the process but the staff ignored them and their questions. Also, not sure if someone accidentally dropped a large glass bottle of strong perfume or if it was some kind of oil infuser but I was sneezing and had to eat outside. The headache leftover from the perfume is what prompted me to leave the review.

I’ve been coming here for a couple of years and I love this place!
