China Star - Lake Mary

I recently tried General Tso's Chicken from this restaurant, and it was served hot and fresh. I paired it with white rice and a small order of Wonton Soup, which was also quite tasty. The portion sizes were very generous, making it good for two people or for a meal later on. This was my first experience at this restaurant, and I would definitely recommend it!

I ordered the General Tso chicken, egg roll, and pork fried rice combination platter, and I also added hot and sour soup. It was delicious! Everything was hot and fresh, and the portions were generous. Definitely a great value!

I absolutely love the C12! The pepper steak with onions is amazing, and the rice is incredibly delicious. Everything is just fantastic!

If I could rate this restaurant with zero stars, I definitely would. The egg rolls were completely bland, and the egg drop soup was no better; it was overly thick due to an excess of corn starch, resulting in a gloppy texture. The wonton soup also lacked flavor, but at least I was able to finish it. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I ended up with a lot of rice for $30. Terrible!

I usually order from this restaurant for my family and me, but after my recent experience, I probably won’t be ordering again. I got food poisoning after having dinner there yesterday evening, and I was sick all night and all day today. Getting food poisoning while pregnant is the worst! I'm not in the early stages of my pregnancy; I'm actually due in 20 days, so this isn’t just morning sickness. I was running to the bathroom all night and feeling awful. I definitely do not recommend this place.
