The View At Dunham's Bay Resort

Unfortunately our experience wasn’t the greatest. We were seated in a makeshift dining area in the hallway, right where you enter the restaurant. Waitresses had to squeeze around our table to get through to the tables behind us. The food was over salted and left a lot to be desired. I really hope that this was due to an off night and not a regular occurrence.

If we asked any questions, the waitress said she was not familiar with the menu. Entree was to include salad, we were charged for salads. Ordered a glass of Fetzer wine, it did not taste the best, on the check it said it was was Barefoot. She should have asked if the substitution was alright. It would not have been.

We were in the area so we made reservation/ showed up 45 minutes early for a drink, we were the only people there/ good for us as there are only THREE tables with a view!! Waitress though pleasant could not answer anything about menu, wine by the glass must of been left over bottles from last year- undrinkabke food was good though, very varied menu including duck- the bread rolls fantastic, menu was reasonably priced considering it’s on the lake. Locals get 20% off on sundays!!!

This is a top brunch spot for anyone in and around the Lake George area.

The food was really bad. I have to say I don't know why I was going with that view and area BUT I got the stuffed bacon wrapped chicken and I literally have never had chicken that I couldn't bite through. It was like chewing a leather belt. My daughter got the same thing and we couldn't eat it. The quiche was really dry and the we sat with Empty drinks forever and it was just not a nice experience at all.
