Popeye's on Lake Geneva

Was in Lake Geneva on a weekend getaway and kept finding my girlfriend and myself returning to Popeyes after trying numerous places around the main downtown

What a dud of a restaurant! We visited this establishment with reservations for a large group So management should have been prepared for us.

Not the fast food chain. This is not the Louisiana kitchen....but they do the Rotisserie Chicken. I'm just going Friday for the fish stable. Holy cow, best potato pancakes around (best served with apples) The servers are always very friendly and attentive. Her broccoli cheddar soup is also wonderful. My mother loves her burgers. There is something for everyone on their menu, and they are very for large groups. Your location is great, right opposite the riviera by the lake, but parking can be a fight, they have a very small parking lot, so you usually have to find street parking with the meters.

I just have a delicious dinner at the lake. Great Rotisserie chicken, wonderful view and Rex was a super server. In any case, would come back. Prices can be $1-2 higher than non-resort areas, but the view made it worth it.

We tried everything you can eat Fish Fry and loved it!! The fish was hot, crispy and not fat. I recommend the spiced fries about the potato pancakes. The Cole Slav was also perfect.
