Bagels Brew - Lake Forest

I had breakfast here three times. Great service fresh many options and beautiful combinations. Definitely 5 stars . More 5 stars for Cheif, and more 5 stars for services and ppl that work behind the counter and serve ppl.

My to-go order was messed up for two consecutive days (I understand that things happen). On the second day, they also charged my credit card twice. When I called to sort it out, the staff were unhelpful and just told me they were too busy to deal with it and would call me back later. Mistakes can happen, but it's crucial to handle them well. Their response was terrible. I won't be returning to this restaurant.

A friend of mine invited me to stop and get a breakfast bagel and coffee. This little restaurant has not disappointed!!! My bagel was delicious and filled! And the coffee was also hot and fresh. I definitely come back.

I had a very disappointing experience with Bagels and Brew. Our company regularly orders food from there, but during my last order, I found a bug in my salad. I couldn’t identify it, but it made me feel quite ill afterward. When I called to speak with the manager and share my concerns, I was put in touch with the catering managers. Unfortunately, the connection was poor, and the conversation wasn't very productive. The catering managers responded quite rudely and did not apologize for the issue with the food. Their attitude suggested that they saw my complaint as just an attempt to get a free meal, as if I would take the time to call for a $10 meal or bagel. It’s important for restaurants to respect their regular customers and take their feedback seriously. When someone takes the time to report an issue, it should be seen as an opportunity for improvement. I assure you, I wouldn't have made a ten-minute call just for a free $10 meal. Please show more respect for your customers.

This is the best bagel West of NYC. The variety is very good but I can do without the California touch such as the multi color kitsch one. It has the neighborhood vibe so missing in today's eating place. One big minus, the Coffee is terrible and completely undrinkable. This is why it gets only 4 stars.
