Subcity Donair - Lake Country

I had a beef donair and it was delicious. The fresh ingredients and tastey meat made it a perfect lunch.

We really enjoy eating here, the donairs are great and as is the salads. Very nice to sit and enjoy the morning with great food. The owner is supper friendly and fast. Very family friendly.

Subcity Donair delivers a consistently good product every time I go there. Hint you can mix up the sauces on your donair. The Lake Country location is one of the newest stores. The staff are very friendly and accommodating to your requests.

This was my first time at this restaurant and my review might be more positive but my experience was affected by the attitude of the staff. The food looked really fresh and appetizing and I had intended to order a meal when I arrived but downgraded it to the sweet potato fries which were good. The girl was really hard working and efficient but could use a super host course. I asked about the baklava and if it was made in house. Her reply no it comes in a box and we portion it out . I tried again and asked her if she had tried the baklava to which she replied I have not . What she was missing was that I wanted to know how good it was and whether to return another time. When I go to a restaurant the friendliness of the staff is an important part of the experience for me. Could have been an off night for that person. I will probably give it another try.

This is a new place in Lake Country, I have been 3 times and the food and menu is fantastic, the service all 3 times was great. I hope they continue with the above average standards
