Slabs - Lake City

I recently took some friends from Germany to Slabs and it was incredible. I live in the US and it was one of the best BBQ experiences I've had. Be sure to try the banana pudding and the jalapeno sausage. The owners were friendly and welcoming.

My dad celebrated his 80th birthday last night. A family friend offered to bring the food, and I was pleasantly surprised by what showed up at the front door. He brought a variety of dishes from SLABS, including brisket, ribs, pulled pork, and sausage. I was extremely impressed by the quality of the food and delighted to discover a restaurant like SLABS in Lake City. Overall, I would give the food a rating of 5 out of 5.

This was our second visit to this restaurant. We arrived around 2:30 pm on Saturday, planning to order our favorite dish, the ribs. However, Brian informed us that it was Ribeye night and the ribs wouldn't be ready until 4 pm. We decided to return later and enjoyed one of the best Ribeyes we have ever had. The accompanying sides and desserts were also excellent. Mike and Lita Charles provided great service. Overall, it was a fantastic dinner experience.

As always, this restaurant was fantastic. We stopped by last time as we were leaving town and now it's a must-visit whenever we're in the area. The meat quality is excellent and the flavors are outstanding. It's some of the best BBQ in South Carolina, and I've had my fair share of it. The portions are huge, so before you go ordering everything on the menu, I suggest considering sharing. An added bonus is the beautiful setting - it's located by a private pond with lovely indoor and outdoor seating options.

I was blown away by the food at this restaurant! From the moment I walked in, I could feel the passion of the owner, and it definitely showed in the delicious dishes we enjoyed. The entire party had a great time chatting with her and savoring every bite. We will definitely be returning for more. My tip: come hungry, you won't regret it. Service was excellent and we had a lovely lunch experience.
