Frankie’s Place - Lake City

Pictured below, Eggplant Rollatini and Stromboli. Super kind staff, great atmosphere, tasty food. Waitress was very prompt. Cook and owner came and spoke with us and explained that if we left without a box to go, he messed up. He wasn't lying.

Can't help but give five stars. The servers, the atmosphere, and the food is wonderful. Love this place!! So many different items, I'll keep going back again and again. For pizza, try their Sicilian deep dish!

The food and service was amazing! The music was sooo loud, I couldn't hear my husband from across the table... needed to be turned down a notch or 2...????

Frankie’s was an unexpected stop on a 2 day road trip. Located on Downtown Lakeland, the atmosphere is a lively bar/restaurant combo. The patrons were a mix of folks enjoying the bar to quiet table service to a couple families with small children. The menu choices were all excellent and homemade on site. Terrific flavors and friendly service, along with a visit from Frankie the owner to each table was plenty reason to add this stop to any visit to Lakeland.

Couldn’t even eat this, grilled chicken had no seasoning, tasted weird and rubbery, mac and cheese taste like bob evan’s to the tea, tator tots were super soft. entire meal seemed to be microwaved honestly. the first time i tried it i got spaghetti that came with one single meatball and it was completely flavorless. wouldn’t recommend or try again.. don’t see how this place is so popular except for it having a bar
