Bruno's - Lake City

Top notch reliable food for 16 yrs . Run by a delightful French couple a master chef and his wife a pastry chef, a very good restaurant for such a small town. The beet salad was killer as is the mushroom ravioli,never disappointed by the food or the service. a lovely dining experience` provided by 2 very nice people one of our favorite places to eat.

Food was really great, but the service was a little slow. The duck appetizer and chicken piccata were yummy.

A highlight of our time in Lake City for the past 4 years has been not only eating the delicious food at Bruno's , but meeting Bruno and Frederica They are at the top, when it comes to delightful food, but are gracious and wonderful people. We love eating there and we love taking our children and our grandchildren for the experience of fine dining. I give them 10 stars!!!

What a wonderful place! We visit Lake City every year in July and September, and it's always a highlight. The food is fantastic, and the ambiance is just right for an elegant dining experience in this special gem of Colorado. The gravlax is simply incredible! Chef Bruno and his wife Frederique truly make this experience exceptional.

We made the mistake of walking in without a reservation. The hostess shot us a disapproving look and, with a heavy French accent, asked if we had one. I sheepishly replied no, to which she shook her head and curtly replied with a definite no. We left feeling taken aback by that unwelcoming attitude. That's alright, though; I won't be returning.
