Old Bastard's And Grill - Lake Charles

We visited twice in the week we were in lake charles and were lucky that thr first was a THU-SUN night when they had seafood on special, it was great. I also never thought I would hype a quesadilla, but had one on both visits, one with chicken one with steak and would recommend either. Simple drink menu , no taps, but they'll happily mix up whatever you ask.

I went for the boiled shrimp and I was not disappointed, it was delicious. It was my first time to eat there but won't be my last. I went with my friend who goes there for the boiled crabs and she kept telling me how good they are and she wasnt kidding, they are delicious also. The waitress, Lauren B was super great, she tended to us and treated us like she had known us forever, she was very nice and she talked me into trying her dr pepper shot and it was unbelievably good. I could have sat there and drank them all night but I only had 1 bc I was driving. I just have nothing negative to say about OB's bc it was all good and I will definitely be be back soon

The Burgers here are AMAZING. We come on Tuesday for burger night and it is always spot on. The service can be hit or miss but the food is always top notch

The food was fantastic! However, the prices were quite steep. I ordered boiled shrimp along with one corn and one potato. When I requested two additional potatoes, I was shocked to find out that they cost $2.00 each. That's $2.00 for a very small potato!
