Cafe Rix - Lake Buena Vista

We stopped in for lunch as a family and really enjoyed our food. We ordered two tuna’s and one blue cheese salad and all loved our meals. It’s been difficult to find a good tuna dish since we came to Orlando so this was a nice surprise. The staff were great, our server was with a trainee too and both team members were really friendly, helpful and attentive. We had a great lunch whilst the weather went south outside, moving us to the bar afterwards. Would recommend.

Had a miserable waitress. Very poor customer service. Didn’t smile once and made my party feel very rushed. As soon as the last piece of food was eaten she came to clear the table straight away and automatically brought the bill straight after this. Not only did she not deserve a tip at all, but when I tried to leave 10% she basically told me I have to leave 18% or 20%!!!!! I said no and said 10% to which she was in a strop about! We split the bill in my party, when the other bill was about to be paid she began to yet again try and force us to leave a different tip than what we wanted to. She then proceeded to say “you are lucky to be on holiday” when in reality we saved up for 3 years and spent £9000 to get on the **** holiday in the first place!!! Absolutely disgusted and this member of staff should not be working in any Disney related facility at all with such a horrible attitude. Appalled.

Older park that was just renovated. It’s pretty big and we should have paid attention which building we were in. Do you wanna be close to the restaurants or a bus stop to the parks?

We had a reservation for later in the evening on a Friday. The place was really busy, probably due to the number of people there for a dance competition. We got seated pretty fast in the back and ordered. It took probably an hour for us to be served and we didn't order anything complicated. We asked the server once and she kind of brushed us off saying she'd asked the kitchen and the food was coming. Probably twenty minutes later, the food came out. One meal was incorrect (somehow very quickly fixed though), one meal had lukewarm soup. The food was fine, nothing spectacular. First but probably last time going here, which is unfortunate since the rest of my experiences in Coronado Springs were great.

Gary with 1 R and the shiny bald head was the best server and trash talker ever! His knowledge of the liquors and food pairing was perfect.
