Speedway 6210 - Lake Barrington

The initial chip card reader I attempted to use was malfunctioning. However, the second one worked fine, confirming that the issue was not on my end. The prices for gas were unexpectedly high for a location like Speedway.

The restaurant staff were terrible. I was sitting in the parking lot when they came and told me to leave after only 20 minutes, even though I had done nothing wrong other than sitting there.

Every time I go in for a drink such as hot chocolate, sugar-free French vanilla, regular French vanilla, more times than not something is wrong with the machines or they are empty. I find it's a waste of time to stop and shop.Employees don't seem to really care about that. I tell them and their response is oh. No sorry about that no nothing. and a few times the French vanilla had a consistency of a Lougee in it

Hunter needs seriously help mentally. Not sure what he has going on in his life but leave it at home and stop taking it out in customers. Makes the place absolutely uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Why he has a job here is beyond me but I will no longer be a Customer at this location

I find it surprising that I am the first person to review this gas station and convenience store. The convenience store and cafe are surprisingly nice. If you can't find a drink or snack you enjoy here, you won't find it anywhere else. I really appreciated the clean restrooms and the fact that the staff wore masks.
