Bidrage med feedbackWe were visiting the Laigueglia village on our family holiday in Liguria and ended up having a dinner in this lovely restaurant in the center of the village. The restaurant had a terrace wich is a plus specially in the summer! The atmosphere was cozy and the service good but the best part was the food! (we tried few differend kind of dishes; my personal favourite was the zuppetta di crostacei a delicious seafood soup, As a lover of the Italian cuisine I 've eaten in many places but this one goes among my favourites! Higly recommended if you are visiting the area! Ps. At last.....a fascinating detail was the beautiful small wine cellar and the waiter who helped us to choose the right one among the several good options they had ;
Paid a visit to U Gussu yesterday after receiving a recommendation from an Italian friend. We strolled in at lunchtime and received a warm welcome. We were quite late into the lunchtime service and it was very quiet indeed. Outside seating was decent enough located in a quiet, shady square away from the hectic goings on around the sea front. Inside looked very nice too. Menu was clear and concise with information whether or not the dish was fresh or frozen. Plenty of fresh food available and I appreciate the honesty of taking this step. We enjoyed a selection of starters and mains. Mussels were better than any I have had in Belgium or France and the fried squid and prawns were excellent. Prices very fair. Well worth seeking out.
Fast lunch, but not so cool... my trofie weren't so good, but fish was tasty. if you're in a hurry for luch, can have a chance.
