Classic Chinese - Laguna Hills

Our fault we got way too much food but boy was it good and lunch for tomorrow! Westlake soup. Yummy. Had it before but never knew what it was called. Filet mignon. Very tender. Next time we will skip the fried rice and just get plain rice. Pork chops. Yummy. Eggplant. Yummy. There is a room to the left but you need to access it from outside. They are busy. The phone didn't stop ringing. Reservations taken for 8 or more. Lunch specials are good. Went there on a Wed noon and had to wait but it was a short wait My favorite thing there is the braised string beans. It reminds me of Monterey park in there. Don't go on a Sun Eve unless you are prepared to wait for 45 minutes.

Great food, amazing staff, and a lovely atmosphere.

I like their cooking a lot because Classic Chinese doesn’t seem to use as much msg as other Chinese restaurants that depend on msg to make their dishes taste good. They have a variety of dishes. I have been there for lunch and dinner. I intend to go there a lot to try other dishes in their menu. Kudos to their chef!! The wait staff are also friendly and more personable. Hostess that greets you when you arrive is very welcoming and gives a pleasant smile to everyone. They also keep their restrooms quite clean which is a plus for me.

Very good restaurant. Portions are a good size for the price. The staff was friendly and quick. I reccomend for a Chinese spot

Food is very good, especially for a local restaurant. We go there regularly.
