Bidrage med feedbackThis place is beyond words. wine selection is great, calf meat is the best they have ever, pasta is made right, and the personal is wonderful. everyone is so attentive and knowledgeable, and they make every special occasion to remember one. seriously this is our new favorite Italian place, as here a few months back. Valentine's Day and this birthday party have not disappointed.
The food and the service were excellent. the noise level was hard. it was hard to talk without screaming.
I really would have loved to give this 5 stars...But at least the the food was good. Service: The waiter brought out three out of four drinks. We were doing a toast, the waiter asked if we needed anything when he saw me looking for him. He said the bartender was backed up a bit it was only 6:30pm), but he would get it a simple glass of wine) that wasn 't included. When the main course came, we were one short. The waiter said he heard the word same instead of Salmon . An honest mistake but why only bring 3 meals for 4 guests....So we waited. When the check came , it was one check. We specified 2 checks when we sat down. One for each couple as one couple enjoys expensive wines and we wouldn 't expect the other to pay more. Well, that didn 't happen either. When we addressed his error, he said he 'd be right back and just cut the check in half...What a disappointment having the experience wrecked by bad waitstaff ....
We were very disappointed in our meal. First, our waiter spoke very quickly and softly and had such a thick accent that we could barely understand him. Second the portions were extremely small. The pasta was overcooked and the Caesar salad was dripping with dressing. Third, our service was very slow even though they were not that busy. The only redeeming quality was the manager that evening was very nice and greeted us very warmly. We were disappointed with the entire evening and will not go back.
Great classic Italian. Best prepared octopus ever. And pasta dishes are above average on any scale, the only challenge was the wait between dishes, very slow- but it may have been an off-night for the team, they seemed overwhelmed and understaffed.
