Lobby Lounge At Montage Laguna Beach

The food was not fresh, seems like it was ordered from a bakery and brought in. There were too many sweets and not enough savories at the tea. Tea was not refreshed after it got cold. It was $500 for three people to have what amounted to half a sandwich each and too many stale sweets.

Tee was excellent, sandwiches were good, not amazing. desserts were top notch, very funny and tasty. the service was excellent and the live piano was a luxurious touch. the setting was very nice (outside view is stellar,) but slightly strange as it was just from the main entrance to the hotel, so felt less special than an event. cocktails were very good (not included in the price). really only ding on the rating was worth. for the cost $75each, seemed a bit futile for what they get. overall we had an excellent time/experience.

That was the first time I ever was in assembly to have tee. my mother and I celebrated her birthday. I would probably change the area for tee, maybe a more twisted area, so others are not confused whether they sit there or not, and I would also change the layout of the meal and serve some desserts. many desserts had very floral taste that my mother and I do not prefer. the personal was very nice and accommodating for all our needs and helpful. the sight and the pianist were to die. my mom and I had a wonderful time. I would come back here if I had more of a choice on the food part for the afternoon tea.

I took my daughter to the afternoon tee for her birthday and it was more than beautiful. eating, service and as always the ambiente is the first advice. we are native and often come to the hotel. the deck for 2 was $194...for afternoon tea. I knew that in advance, so it was not a surprise, but again, in the afternoon. even for this place, which is a steeper price. was it worth it? if it wasn't my daughter's birthday, I say no, but as a directed one-time opportunity it was nice.

Unexpected “$30. service charge” and via “ supplemental parking” $25 due due to invalid car pampered the experience. not my cup tee.
