Pao D'avo Maria - Lagos

I have been to this bakery a few times. It’s not big at all and there is no sitting area. My favourites are the toreros doces and the almond cookies. So good and fresh. They also have quiche and savoury bread. I mean to try the other baked products but it’s always the toreros I end up buying! And the lady at the counter is very friendly and always smiling.

Visited a cafe in Lagos which is branded ‘Pao d’Avo Maria’, presumably linked to or owned by the bakery in Odiáxere. Great value for money, friendly and well managed.

I'm Hoping this is the place we visited as it is along a side street (smaller than other side streets) small and very friendly. Vast range of drinks, cakes breads etc. Dummy of an old Portuguese lady sitting on a chair outside. Very reasonably priced refreshments. Quaint and helpful staff.
