My Sushi - Lagos

Fantastic food! We loved it so much we returned. The all you can eat deal is real value for money, especially at lunch time. And the food is presented so well!

It's an all you can eat (AYCE) sushi restaurant. This place has very cheap prices, but that means the quality of the things are not that good. It's definitely a place that will be appropriate for people who want to be full and on a budget. Tuna: the tuna instead of being red is more greyish, which is very weird to me, but it dodn't taste bad and I wasn't sick afterwards. Sushi with cream cheese: maybe they are catering to the community or the restaurant ran out of cream cheese, but as a foreigner, I am not used to the amount of cream cheese in sushi to be barely noticeable. I come from a place where you can see a cube of half a centimeter of cream cheese in the sushi roll. Every sushi with cream cheese here was very disappointing. I do not recommend this category. Sushi overall: as expected of most AYCE sushi placesx the sushi contains more rice than actual toppings/ingredients. The rice is mildly mushi here Tempura items: actually very good and fresh. They don't serve tap water! So make sure you have your pre-filled water bottle if you don't want on buying a drink. The service here is actually very good and fast despite the restaurant being full at the time we went. Again, food is not great, but the menu is diverse (93 different things), you're full and it didn't cost you much.

Amazing food, value for money as well. The duck is actually good, the squid is small but flavourful and the beef is well seasoned. But most importantly the octopus sashimi is tender and amazing. The salmon and tuna were fresh too! Definitely would go again!
