Patacon Latin Cuisine - Lafayette

I have been hearing so much about this place, and finally I decided to try it! We had the following: Patacones Arepas Empanadas (Ground Beef) Tequenos Jalapeños Tres Leches cake Everything was so delicious, the patacones and arepas are definitely the highlights! All the food is delicious. The Patacons are a unique experience that shouldn't be missed and the Chicha is wonderful, it's like a desert all by itself.

If you haven't been here you haven't experienced the greatness of Acadiana and the melting pot we live in. The flavors are superb and the food is always fresh. Absolutely a must go.

Excellent food and very nice owners! Nothing else like it in Lafayette, the tequenos are delicious in any variation, and same for the patacons.

This place did not disappoint! Had never tried Venezuelan food before so we tried several things that sounded good. Literally everything we had was off the charts amazing. The empanadas were awesome, we tried the chicken and the pabellón and both were delicious. Fried plantains have gotta be the best bread substitute ever, the brisket patacón was so freaking good that I just couldn’t stop eating it even though I was beyond full.
