Hooters - Lafayette

I had a rough experience at this restaurant. After waiting an hour for our food, the noise level was overwhelming. While our waitress was friendly and clearly shared our frustration with the kitchen, there seemed to be a serious issue back there that needs to be addressed, particularly in terms of staff and management. The manager did come out to apologize and offer us a discount, but he appeared quite indifferent, lacking the energy to genuinely seem concerned about our experience. The entire evening felt like a disaster. Although the food was decent, the shrimp were left under a heat lamp while everything else was being prepared, making it difficult to enjoy the meal. The overall execution was inconsistent and left much to be desired. However, I’m giving it 2 stars instead of 1 mainly because of our wonderful waitress who tried her best to make things right.

The waitstaff at this restaurant all seem to have their own tables where they sit and eat while on the job. I noticed them lounging at the bar, taking selfies, texting on their phones, and even eating the food I sent back, which was just left sitting next to other dishes. It didn't help that the cooks were also eating and drinking while they were supposed to be preparing meals. The wait times were incredibly long. The food itself was passable, though the fries were still half-frozen. To top it off, when she brought back my change, she said, "You have a dollar eighty-seven, you don't need to give it back!" I guess she thought that meant she was getting a tip, but that definitely wasn't happening!

I have a better chance on Sunday to start playing quarterback in the nfl than get help from one of the four hired who have always gone from me. every. single. time. me. here! girls who have ignored me several times on their handy when I lean on the podium above.

Ready. the service was slow for the 3 tables there on the afternoon. apparently they no longer offer grilled chicken sandwiches, like my fried ones. medium is the new mild and very embarrassing. the tickets looked more acidic and had hardly a speck. they don't do any more green twill on them from a strange ground. Overall, I don't come back to this restaurant even if they paid me.

All waiters have their table with customers where they sit and eat during work. that is when they are not sitting at the bar that took selfie, or text on their phones, and eat the food that I sent back while it sits next to any other food all the cooks were eating and drinking during cooking. that's waiting forever. the foods were at least decent pommes were still half frozen) then when they brought back our change, they said that they have a 1.87 change they do not need to do that back! nope that was just your tipp)
