Original South China Sea - Lacombe

Way over priced. I just paid 6$ +tax for 2 egg rolls you buy in the frozen section at the grocery store. a box of 12 cost 6.99$. I have them in my freezer. very disappointed. not authentic at all.

The food was very good. They were honest and warned us that the buffet was getting old at the time we came in and the food that we ordered was very good. No complaints. They were also very friendly and helpful.

The buffet doesn't have a lot of selection... food is kind of salty too. Service is good though. The servers were very good at getting our plates and keeping our drinks filled.

Fast, friendly service. The Sesame Chicken is a family favourite. Not a big fan of the Ginger Beef it's pretty sugary and saucy but other than that, we've loved every selection we've ordered.

I really love the food here. I travel into Lacombe for it. I am big on quality over quantity but when you get both... awesome! I usually order a dinner for 5 and my family of four can have at least 3 meals out of it. You can substitute pretty much anything you want for a measly 2 dollar up charge. They wrap the food up so well it's piping hot when I get it home 30 minutes later. Lots of soy sauce and plum sauce with the meal as well. Beef and Broccoli has a delicious sauce with tender beef and huge fresh broccoli that is never overcooked or soggy. I love the rice dishes and chow mein . Big chunks of meats and veggies and just packed full. I will call it in and it's ready usually 25 minutes later and they are so friendly. You will be full!!
