La Paloma Gelateria Cafe - Lackawanna

Being here for the ice cream with my server is continuously on the phone on her earpiece and not even focussing to serve us. Gelato was ok. Not worth coming so far.

I love visiting to buy gelato with my husband and son, the flavour variety is amazing and tasty. My husband also really enjoys the espresso coffee. The staff are always so friendly and patient. The place can get crowded sometimes but we do like sitting in when there are chairs available. Even though it's a bit pricey, we think it's well worth for the unique flavours. I recommend the passion fruit sorbet, pistachio, and dulce de leche, but my all time favourite is the classic chocolate.

This is good *ice cream*Marketed as gelato, hence the 3 star review.Loved the variety of flavours and customer service.Had the kinder chocolate. Liked the chocolate bits, but found that the gelato wasn't rich, smooth and creamy. It was more airy, like regular ice cream.Wouldn't knock it, but if you're looking for (my opinion of) real gelato, consider Mizzica.

Tried this place for the first time yesterday with my sister and her friend. I can honestly say I regret not listening to the other reviews regarding rude unacceptable behaviour from the workers. My sister‘s friend asked to try the Hazelnut flavour, the worker gave her a sample from the fresh tub in the front. My sister’s friend said she liked it and ordered that. The worker then serves her from the tub in the back (the red arrow) where the gelato is hard, old and frozen. My sister’s friend tried it and said it did not taste the same. We kindly asked them to remake it for from the fresh tub or give us a refund. They rudely and in a condescending manner denied us both, so we simply threw all our “gelatos” in the garbage, drove across the street to Spin Cafe and ordered some delicious desserts. If anyone’s looking for a good gelato place, I highly recommend Gelato Gelato Pizzaria. Not only do they have good gelato, the owners and the workers there are kind, welcoming, and accommodating. Unlike the garbage of a place this one is ?

Absolutely overrated! Customer service was ok but the gelato’s are not worth it. There is no taste and flavour.
