Champion Döner - Lackawanna

My recent visit to Champion Döner was a delightful culinary adventure. The delicious Turkish food served here truly exceeded my expectations. The flavors and quality of the dishes were outstanding. The portion sizes were just right, offering a satisfying meal without overwhelming, and the reasonable prices made it an even more attractive dining choice. I would highly recommend Champion Döner for a taste of authentic Turkish cuisine that won't break the bank. This place definitely deserves a spot on your list of go-to restaurants.

Amazing Turkish food and hospitality here, can’t go wrong with the chicken sandwich in that fresh bread. I will be back for sure!

We went here last Saturday for takeout and it was good food for first time trying it. However, our food was ready and just sitting out on counter and wasn’t being packed/given to us until we stood there and waited and asked if that was our order as there were a few others waiting too and we were certain it was ours. Therefore the food ended up being lukewarm. We also asked multiple times if “ALL” the sauces were packed because we wanted to try all 3. The older lady reassured us 3 times “Yes yes yes everything inside. Yes! Don’t worry!” And when we got home, it was only 2 sauces packed…… which we had feared and thus had asked to make sure… The restaurant itself also looks unkempt in the dining area/waiting area.Parking: Plaza parking

Wasnt feeling like writing a review but since its Champion Doner i had to write. The food is top notch. Portions are so very generous and excellent taste and quality. Service is exemplary. I was back from a trip, confused and tired went to pick up food when it came to pay for order i realized i did not have any credit card on me. Owner offered i take the food and then come back to pay another day. i didnt. instead went home picked up my card and came for food but even the have that offer meant so much to me.Even though i always take the carryout option i love the friendly atmosphere there too.

A friend recommended I try the food at this establishment. so I did, first time i ordered through delivery I tried the chicken donor plate, with different types of sauces food was good but the toppings like the garnishes needs improvement the pickles were spoiled and the tomatoes were soft. went back a second time in store and ordered just the chicken donor in a box this time and noticed that they already have the chicken prepared in a silver container thats another health issue cause how long has the chicken been sitting in that container the chicken is supposed to be sliced fresh and heated on the grill. asked for pickles with my order and noticed again the pickles are stale is the staff really checking the garnishes to make sure there fresh, they need to check their garnishes before serving to people this can get people sick.
