Everything we got was great!! The staff were friendly and the restaurant was very clean. I've been here a few times and will definitely return.

Finally got a chance to try their chaffles with an awesome double burger. True carnivore meal except with pickles. Tasty and sloppy juicy and everything a good burger should be.

They have, seriously,THE BEST burger I have had in a very long time. Had the patty melt and it was cooked to perfection and fixed with toppings-no skimping here.My mom had the gluten free burger that was phenomenal. Both agree this is now our go to burger place. I don't know why anyone would go to The Den or Whataburger. La Vernia wake up and utilize this treasure!!! Yes, they are out of stuff sometimes but the menu is really expansive. There is a smell, thanks to City of La Vernia not doing their job. Service was outstanding. Place was clean. Prices fair.Dietary restrictions: They offer a gluten free bun that is OUTSTANDING!!

There wasn't a full menu but the food we did order was super good! We got the spicy chicken sandwich with crispy tots, a kids burger, chili burger with grilled jalapeños, triple burger, spicy fried pickles, onion rings, sweet potato fries, fries and the Maddy. There was 7 of us and we could not finish the food. It's ok though we had left overs for later! We definitely recommend the spicy fried pickles, the onion rings are AMAZING, the sweet potatoes are delicious, the chili in the food was SO good. The fries are the lightly battered kind which we LOVE. We were so full that we were only able to taste the Maddy and it was yummy. The burgers are made to your doneness! The food here is AMAZING! I’m picky when it comes to burgers and was very happy with the quality of meat used and the flavor of the burgers. The sides and appetizers were all great too. I highly recommend the fries, sweet potato fries, and onion rings. Some of the best chili I’ve ever had. Went well with the chili burger and loaded fries. The portions are very generous. We came with a group of friends and still had lots of leftovers. The staff is very friendly and despite not having everything on the menu, they do their best to make sure you have a good experience. We are from the Corpus area visiting San Antonio and are happy to say it was worth the drive.Parking: Easy to park.Kid-friendliness: High chairs and free lollipops available. Plenty of kids meal options. My toddler is very picky and doesn’t eat anything from the kids menu but she loves grilled chicken. I was able to order her some grilled chicken and she loved it.
