Le Petit Nice Sud - La Teste-de-Buch

Since 2016 we’ve been having at least one meal per year here at Restaurant Petit Nice. Since then the service and the food regressed, but yesterday was the « cherry on the cake ». We’ve got cheese and charcuterie appetizer and we left half of it as it was not so good, but that’s okay, you cannot satisfied the taste of everyone and we understand it. What we do not understand was the horrible service we’ve had. There were at least 6 waitresses around 18 years old without any feeling of client service or the acknowledgment to be a waitress. We’ve had waited for 30mins after one very rude girl removed our plates and has been asked to bring us coffee, we just decided to pay and leave. Why? Because the 6 young women were on the bar chatting and laughing but they didn’t bother to bring the espresso we’ve had ordered. Usually I don’t like to write a negative review, but if the boss asked us when we pay « how was everything, etc » which is normal question from the head of restaurant we could have explained that and not write all of that on trip advisor ! Some people really need to work on their emphaty to satisfy their customers ! We do not recommend this place!!!!

Expensive food at a very low quality. We took and hamburger and a dish of moules frittes , the taste was terrible. In total 40euros.

New owners have completely renovated this beautiful spot by the beach. We were pleased to discover a new menu including their family recipes. All dishes are homemade from locally sourced products. It is a family run business. They make you feel at home as soon as you arrive. Children are welcome. This is a place to relax, enjoy a meal, snack or just a drink or two with friends. Thank you Olivier and Karenne. We'll be back!
