Bidrage med feedbackVery good restaurant for eating fish. We choose the 25 euro menu: entrée with 9 oysters, main dish with grilled swordfish and a selection of french cheese. The fish was fresh and delicious, above all I liked the oysters. 2 negative observations: first, I sent...an email 1 week before in order to book a table, but anyone answered me (fortunately, I went under low season and it was not really necessary... ; second, it was cold inside, existing heating apparatus was not suffisant. But I strong advise this restaurant...
Visiting family in France after New Year, we 'forced ' them out to Sunday lunch, so nobody had to cook for a change though we all love cooking as good seafood produce here by Arcachon! Didnt read TR before booking/eating so was surprised to find...it reviewed (in French but can agree #1 as best we found so far in area. The Cabanon is indeed like a 'cabin ', reminded us of some Tahoe places so we loved it from first sight but inside it is even better. Friendly reception even though we were not known and obviously 'foreign ', well organised and we were served quickly. Having someone with you who reads/speaks French would be a good idea to get the best enjoyment, as not everyone ordering a brochette would be happy to receive a skewer of rose (half cooked veal kidneys but we knew the game so were very happy. I had Espadon (swordfish which was tasty and filling, served with a jacket potato, just great for a cold January day as the sun does not always shine in France! Our 3year old grandson had the special baked Camembert as starter and main, then shared our desserts. 'Menu regionale ' at €18.50 for 3 courses is a steal, especially as the starter is choice of 9 (NINE! local oysters or foie gras or something else we forget what. Cannot wait for the next visit!! WARNING if you want Sunday lunch, reserve ahead! We had pre booked on the Friday, when at midday it was full of local people, always a good sign.
Vu d'extérieur on ne dirait pas qu'il y a Cadre magnifique Nous avons opté pour le menu à 26euros et nous nous sommes régalés. La cuisine est raffinée et surtout ne manquez pas la tourtière aux pommes Le personnel est attentif et sympathique

Le menu propose de très bons plats pour un prix très raisonnable : belle tranche de foie gras, saumon mariné ... en entrée, cuisse de canard (meilleure que la côte de canard), poissons en plats, et généreux desserts.Le seul hic c'est l'attente à chaque plat qui nous a fait finir le dîner proche de minuit pour une arrivée à 20h...Heureusement, le chanteur brésilien fait patienter ... Pour ceux qui aiment cela !
