Pigons Focaccette - LA SPEZIA

We were looking for a simple dinner after a drive from Bologna. Doubtful of what food they'll serve us, we just gave it a go. The prosciuttos were home made which made it less salty than commercialized ones. The cheese with compliments the parma ham. We were served with different types of dishes until we could not take it anymore. The food were nicely done and delicious. Could not complain! Check this out when you get a chance!

My wife and I were staying for a couple of nights in La Spezia towards the end of a long (20-day) Italian vacation. The evening we reached our rented apartment we were too tired to do anything more than step out for a bite and a drink, and came across this place quite close by. Their specialty is sandwiches, but we opted for the 'mini '-dinner which turned out to be the best Italian meal of our entire tour! Seven courses (for just ten euros), each of them full of lovely local flavours. For drinks we ordered their handmade beer which was delicious. Highly recommended!

There are a number of different dishes, I really enjoyed the vegans! Very tasty, fresh and carefully handmade. The staff, I think, mother and daughter, was very friendly and helpful. They see you as a family and take care of you. It was new to us and we didn't know we were expecting this, but we had a really good time and our bells are full! 40 € for 2, wine and water included!
