Basilico - LA SPEZIA

I looked for this restaurant on travel advisor, but on the receipt, there is written memory bar, there were people who dined, we took two strawberry dishes with, cream we spent 11 euros, they were very good. the restaurant is very elegant both inside and outside

I recommend this place for nice staff, good food and wine and cosy atmosphere. i recommend mussels, minestrone, vegetable pie and their special pesto!

Our party of 11 (7 children and 4 adults) decided to eat at based on walk-up appearance of the shop. Our waitstaff was kind and pulled together tables to fit our large group. The food was above average, but it was the pesto that our family LOVED. We purchased a jar to go home with as well. I would recommend this location for lunch or dinner.

The pizza is deep-frozen and of appropriate quality. The service is incapable and the waiting time is much too long. Simply a cheek.

Tried here today for lunch had pasta and pesto and my friend had bruschetta with pesto. Thinking that it would be amazing as pesto was their speciality. This was so disappointing. Food was very bland. My friends bruschetta was very dry. Would be ok to stop for some drinks but I’d give the food a miss. Staff were very nice though. I was also put off by seeing the waitress returning from a local supermarket with lots of pre packaged salad. Not what I would expect in Italy.
