Very friendly, competent and attentive staff, the food was excellent and the view is amazing from the terrace/beach front.
My wife and I have booked the last available table for lunch on Friday morning. The special was aioli and we both ordered it. It wasn't disappointed. The service also left nothing to be desired. We came back to dinner the next day. My wife's pasta was a... Bit overcooked, but she says that's quite normal in France. She said it was her fault to order the pasta. All I had (I didn't order Pasta) and all she had was excellent. And the service was fantastic. Higlyy recommended
Arrival at our hotel seemed that there was no place in the restaurant for lunch, so we went to the next restaurants. The Vague d’Or offers places outside the terrace overlooking the sea. We first ordered the Salat Vague d’Or and the Asian style Gambas as a starter. The salad was really a disappointment, we even found a delicious tomatoes in the salad. The Asian style Gambas were good, but not special. Then we ordered a calf tar. This court was really good. Service was friendly although it was very busy on a Sunday. Total experience; good, but not special.
Just on the beach. The view is great on the « les deux frères » islands. Our server Sabrina was great, very friendly. We did not have a reservation and still besides being full they set a table up for us next to the other ones. So...we had french fries, fish, and veal. I would have appreciated a tastier sauce with my burbot. We enjoyed wine and desserts as well. We had a chat with Sabrina about tipping. They expect 4-6€ per table of 4. We were told that Americans are tipping way more than the French since servers in the USA are paid thanks to tipping. Good experience, great weather, nice view, and awesome service.
