Auberge des Platanes - La Roque-Gageac

The ordered mushroom omelettes and they were massive, so very filling. sa outside, the road past, but was not busy at an early June weekday. overall it was good without being spectacular.

Hearty farewell to the distances of the dordogne friendly and funny service easily accommodated a table for 9 short term and the location is absolutely stunning. a great place to see the sun over the valley as the river flows.

I begin with the one good thing at this place; there was only one waiter for 35 covers only 10 minutes after the opening, and he worked tirelessly to take the orders and the food as fast as he could point for him...for his efforts. eating was another thing. we ordered two burgers and two animals, as they might serve a burger as terrible as it is beyond us. the burgers arrived alarmingly fast as they were busy the patty was soggy, gray and seriously spiced. the matte bungalow on which he was served was soggy with the juices from the restless meat. it was made with pâté de foie gras that did not clear on the menu, and then to this I found a hair in mine. I didn't make a stir because I could see that the poor waiter worked at his absolute limits, and that was so disgusting that I never wanted to eat anyway. with hindsight I wish I had raised it, as I would probably at least have saved the cost of 18 €, which softens the impact of an otherwise dirty experience. we were actually painted with this place in a corner when we visited the end of the season la roque gageac. we were in here because it was the only place that was open at night. if they visit this city outside the season, they should definitely plan because they really don't want to eat here. we have eaten many places, and had good and bad food, but that was perhaps, in the did definitiw, the worst food we ever had, as long as we both remember.

We stayed here for only one night but the room we booked here( family room with a terrace and river view) was wonderful! Our room was so comfortable, clean and spacious. We would totally recommend this hotel for comfort and service. It’s right in the...middle of this beautiful village and the view from the terrace was amazing
