Rotisserie La Fontaine - La Rochelle

What a find this eating house is. Situated on the market square, it's in a good location, easy to find. The food is delicious, we choose the belly pork, and potatoes, which was soaked in the juice of the meat, and was amazing. We have travelled the world, and eaten in some incredible restaurants, however, this simple food hit the spot. The price was under six euro! The proprietor was kind and helpful, In fact my husband wanted some bread to soak up all the gorgeous juice, but the markets were closing for the day. The owner gave some of his own bread, so he could fully enjoy, how lovely was that. Can't wait to return, to get my fix of this meal again, before I return to the uk.

This is my favorite restaurant!! My family and i have been coming here for years!! I always get the chicken fajitas and a diablo Margarita.

Quite pricy, but the portions are huge! The menu is large so there's bound to be something for everybody.
