Bidrage med feedbackRue st-jean du perot in the old 'chain' district is all restaurants, all disputed for tourist spending and all offer variations on a basic theme. we were 2 families of 8 tenant and elder and were engaged in the menu board by one of the two owners pascal patrick. his reception was inviting and informative and not under pressure. his willingness to change tables to host our big party, has sworn for us and we have spent our money here. (It is not designed for young children) we have not regretted it at all, the food was excellent and presented with a refined touch without the accent of "fine dining". the carpaccio of scallops was excellent and the obligatory meeres food plate also not disappointed. for no fish lovers the steaks and the chicken were cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. the outstanding court was the cadjau en croute in a bright brotkrust and get lemon zeste. young workers who learn their trade and English were monitored by the owners with a light touch and humor and our experience made a relaxed and pleasant.
No bad meal, service well, cost around 90 eu including a bottle of wine. we would be happy to come back if necessary, but probably try somewhere else.
Eating was ok, but the service must be improved. If you're a fish lover, maybe for you. we found it pretty bland and tasteless.
It's been at least four times that we've been going there and never been disappointed. The kitchen is very good and the warm welcome. the decoration of the room is neat.
It is my 3rd passage in this establishment and the quality is always at the rendezvous. the quality of the reception, dishes and ingredients has not changed. The price is always as affordable as seen from the proposed menu.To be tested during a rocky passage.
