La Rue Bistro - La Quinta

Three of us met an early evening for weeping and eating. the ambiente was beautiful. Live music with a gentleman sings together to karaoke back tracks, with the occasional melodie played on his keyboard. but eating was terrible. we shared a plate of the prosciutto wrapped data. they were burned. my friend ordered the lobster bisque, which was unusable because it was too salty (and I like salty suppen, but that was ruined.) that we mentioned to the waiter who had also complained other customers about the saltiness of the suppe. two of us ordered the barklids that were dry and tasteless. we had to order a side of the BBQ sauce to be able to choke them off. cute place with great potential, but stay free from the food. go for a glass wee or two.

I met lifelong friends at La Rue Bistro for the very first time. We instantly fell in love with everything food, wine, atmosphere, location everything! It was so refreshing to dine somewhere where all aspects were perfect. We all agree that this is a place we will frequent and recommend of everyone!

Would not recommend. Made a reservation for 8:30 pm. Showed up on time. Walked in. Was greeted by someone who worked there. He said sit any where you would like. The next words out of his mouth were the kitchen is closed. If there going to close the kitchen at 8:30pm on a Saturday night they should not be taking reservations that late. They should also mention that somewhere on open table and there website.

Last minute decision for dinner neighborhood restaurant. Off season so pretty empty. Ordered Meet Me In St. Louis Ribs although the sauce on top was warm, ribs were cold. Sent back I am sure they microwaved it. On recommendation of owner, ordered the Reuben sandwich just okay. Kind of skimpy on the meat. IF we returned we would order something different!

We enjoyed the restaurant very much and the food and entertainment were excellent!
