El Pollo Loco - La Quinta

We ordered 3 pieces of chest and wing dinner. The only thing that was easily acceptable was the corn. Coleslaw looked out and tasted like it was thrown into the small container last week. The chicken was dry and hard as it was cooked and sitting days ago. When I lived in OC years ago, it was my place. The chicken was moist and juicy as it just came from the grill, like the sides. I'd rather go to KFC at least it's consistent. Sad because I loved this grilled chicken? You obviously don't know?

So unhappy with El Pollo Loco in Indio and La Quinta. We decided to give up several times. 95% of the chickens we received were either over boiled with dry skin and meat, or the Koleslaw had almost zero dressing, and or the rice had color, but zero taste. possessed over $44 today and this is the last of our hard-earned money we plan to hand over to them. I'm so disappointed when we both loved El Pollo in Burbank. They always delivered freshly cooked, perfectly prepared meals. Hoped for the same thing here, but looks like it's impossible. I hope someone in management wakes up and really looks at what they are? I'll help. I really hate to wait until we make our next visit to Burbank. ?

I visited Palm Springs with my family during the holiday weekend, and I was looking forward to enjoying a Pollo Loco. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. Upon arriving, I was met with rudeness from the staff, who seemed uninterested and uninformed about their jobs. They forgot to include the dressing for my salad and added beans to my burrito, even though I specifically requested it without beans. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. This was the worst Pollo Loco experience I've ever had. They really need to reevaluate their vision and mission regarding customer service.

I enjoy the pollenasado, but for some reason, this location seems to be closed during most meal times as of April 2, 2023. Since early 2022, only the drive-thru has been consistently open, and only a small portion of the dining area has been available. Additionally, the food is not always fresh or prepared correctly, so I would say there's a 50/50 chance that you'll receive your order as requested.

The dining room is now open for indoor seating, and takeout options are also available. The menu includes a variety of citrus-marinated grilled chicken dishes, such as salads, bowls, burritos, tacos, and tostadas. You can choose from flour or corn tortillas, or enjoy them with chips, alongside a side salad, black or pinto beans, rice, or vegetables. This restaurant offers healthier grilled chicken meals as an alternative to the less nutritious options found at burger places.
