Bidrage med feedbackThis hidden gem is located on a 118 year old golf course. What an accomplishment! The food was fast and fresh. The staff and other customers were friendly. Our favorites were the fried green tomatoes and blackened pork chops. The decor is dedicated to black jazz musicians that really gave it a Louisiana jazz club feel. The greens and red beans and rice were not what I expected of creole cuisine. In all I'd visit again.
My husband and I were here two weeks ago and I was so impressed. The food was very good, the feeling and ambience was so relaxed and peaceful. The service was exceptional, the owner came by and personally welcomed us. We want to return. If you are looking for a beautiful, romantic dinner with great service and food, this your place!!
My husband and I met with friends here for dinner and it was amazing. My family is from New Orleans and I have to say that the atmosphere and atmosphere of this restaurant feels like I'm in the Big Easy. We tried the darkened chicken, shrimp pasta, gumbo, roasted green tomatoes, loaded frits, fried alligator, darkened chicken and peach-cobbler and it was all delicious. The owner came to our table and had to know us a bit? good to see an owner in his own facility, which his staff supports. Will be back soon?
Love this place, the music, the food, the ambiance and the chef. I loved that the chef came out and spoke with us. The drinks were great. I am definitely going back.
This was locate it a little off a small Road, Hidden in the cut. It's located on a golf course and is a best kept secret among locals. Talk about a pleasant surprise this one is going in the books. It has a Cajun Creole style complete with jazz a beautiful view and Louisiana classics. I love it! The biscuits weren't the best a tad bit on the dry side. The catfish Arcadian a most lovely piece of work, where are the fish melted in my mouth the loaded potatoes heavenly deep fried green tomatoes heavenly I should have taken some on the road with me. ??? My girlfriend had the fried chicken the chicken was also a little on the dry side, which was unfortunate. It almost tasted like it was air fried.? Overall the experience was great the music was everything Chef John came out had conversation with us and then gave us extra crust in our peach cobbler simply because we asked for it.? oh yes the peach cobbler was also good served with a shortbread cookie instead of a crust it wasn't horrible I certainly enjoy the crust better
