Bidrage med feedbackTipical Cervezaria where locals eat, drink Quillmes Beer and watch Football Game in the evening. Many good local Appetizers and Dishes to try out.
The reason it's always full, day and night with locals is the ambience, the food, the service. Starting with a bowl of peanuts which you shell, eta and throw the skins on the floor. Beer is ok. Not too many choices. Food varied, large portions,...cooked to order. I go regularly.
Went twice here, first time tried a normal beef and didn't like it, too cooked, almost well done and hard. The second time was better, tried a bike de chorizo and this was good, rare to medium rare, very taste, tender and juicy. Besides the...name, cerveceria, don't go there expecting different types of beer.
The restaurant is rather big, lots of table. yet the atmosphere is very nice. Got there for lunch, not too many table when arrived but was quickkly completely packed. The menu is very extensive. I had a crepe filled with vegetable and it was delicious....I also had some beef that was amazing. The bread on the table is delicious too. The only negative I might have is that it took a very long time to get the food. But it is well worth the wait! I would definitely go back and recommend it for any occasion.
We went a sunday afternoon to have lunch because one of my friends recommend it. It´s called Modelo Cervecería which means like Beer Bar Modelo , and it is exactly that. Many food, not many different beers, and pretty much a bunch of everything to eat...and drink. The city itself doesn´t have too many options during a Sunday, and less during a summer break in a city full of students; nevertheless, it´s a good place. Prices are regular, food is good and service is regular, aswell. The only thing you should remember if you decide to go is to ask about portions. We ask for a milanesa and got portion so big that hardly any normal person could finish that. I´ll leave a picture below for you to see.
