Wetzel's Pretzels - La Mesa

I witnessed the cashier accepting a clearly counterfeit $100 bill from a customer without knowing how to authenticate it. Despite knowing it was fake, she still gave the customer change for it. Incompetent staff at this establishment.

One of the bakers had her cellphone in her gloved hands then kept on touching the dough, other workers were around her, no one said anything, she didn’t changed gloves either, someone tell her, them, why that’s unsanitary. In serious need of trainingPic was taken 12/29/23 around 1pm

I love Wetzel Pretzel it is so good and it my favorite place to go in the mall.

Supposed to open at 10 am and didn't have food ready till 11 :14 am

Staff was hesitant but very helpful. Payment kiosk was not functioning properly but we got it done. The new churro ? bites were good although I think they had a little too much chocolate for our tastes. We purchased both caramel and sweet cream dip as well to round out the taste sensation. Sadly, I felt the soda prices are a bit high but that did not distract from the the deliciousness of the pretzel experience.
