The Shores - La Jolla

I came here to experience the beach, but I was pleasantly surprised to see this restaurant. You had a happy hour. The tuna below was amazing. It was well seasoned and tasteful. The Happy Hour Special was decent price on $7, which was a real treat. The frits, though a little bigger than I prefer, they were also delicious. Also the view of the sea was beautiful. I'd come back. The service was great and I didn't have to wait long for my food. You can sit outside or inside if you want.

Shores Restaurant is located in La Jolla Shores Hotel. It is right on the beach with a beautiful view of the sea. If you can't find street parking, they have parking spaces in their underground garage that was easy to find. The restaurant confirms free parking in the first 90 minutes. Then it's $10 for the next 90 minutes and goes up from there. I think they should validate for 2 hours, like most restaurants, but this is more a hotel thing, I think. I have a reservation for 8 of my employees for a happy hour (they only actually have Happy Hour Deals Monday Thursday and we went on a Friday... oops! and 6 appeared, and most appeared late. No problem! They had a table ready for us on their terrace overlooking the sea. Cherry was our server and she was fantastic! She was attentive and super friendly. I had a passionate fruit mule that was delicious. Everyone at the table enjoyed their drinks. For food had some dinner plans so that didn't want to eat too much, others didn't... Cherry and the restaurant were able to meet all needs perfectly. Two in the party ordered from the children's menu to get a smaller part, one ordered the beet salad, one ordered a burger, one of the triple decker sandwich (they took half of it home for lunch the next day! and I ordered the Butternuss-Quash-Ravioli. We could also order a page of Pommes for the table. Everything came out perfectly and everyone was satisfied with his orders. I would like to go back a weekday (not Friday to experience their actual happy hour. It was a very beautiful experience, good atmosphere, excellent look we even saw dolphins from our table! I recommend this restaurant.

Beautiful restaurant in the la Jolla beach next to the Marine room. It has a very nice brunch menu.

Right on the sand, great sunset views. Fast service. Nice HH special. Food was good, very large portions.

Visited the Shores Restaurant after a photoshoot at the beach. Wait staff were excellent they had both food and drink recommendations. I was not hungry so I skipped the food. The Bartender recommended a Specialty Gin drink and I loved it. Awesome views of the sunset through the large windows in front of the bar. Made friends with some locals, it was a great time and I will be bacck to try their food!
