Musashi’s - La Jolla

The beaten path is a tiny stripe ball. Maybe seats 20. No sushi bar. But great service and perhaps the best Chirashi bowl I ever had. Super delicious spicy Mayo. No alcohol on the terrace, but no big thing IMO.

The staff were very friendly, but the menu seemed a little limited. Or maybe the person taking our order had difficulty articulating the menu to us. It got very busy around lunchtime and parking in the adjacent lot is limited to 30 minutes, even for customers.

Small little restaurant very good food great service and good prices. I recommend the Chirashi Bowl Special.

Awesome sushi place. Their chirashi is amazing. Good quality fish. Sadly right now no indoor dining.

Musashi's offers a more authentic sushi experience than what we typically encounter. The food is simple, delicious, and reasonably priced. The ingredients are fresh and expertly prepared by the chefs. The sushi rolls feature generous slices of high-quality fish and fresh avocado, traditionally wrapped in seaweed to highlight the pure flavors intended in classic sushi. It's definitely a hidden gem, and I will certainly be returning.
