James' Place - La Jolla

We had dinner with another couple before a game. It was my husband and my first time. Our friends have been here several times since they passed seasons to La Jolla Playhouse and enjoyed their meals. We had a wonderful experience. Our waiter was very attentive and gave excellent advice on food and wine. We didn't want to spend much money on wine and the wine he recommended was very good. We had rainbow roll for appetizers and it was fresh. My shrimps fried rice and lobster were delicious. Overall we enjoyed our dinner and like the ambience. It was also convenient to be next to the La Jolla Playhouse and did not need to hurry. Our waiter gave us a head when it was time to go to the game.

This is Amazing. Great sushi. Big Rolls. Fresh sushi. Appetizers are ideal for exchange and very tasteful. Definitely recommend.

Great ambience delicious appetizers all this before the curtain rises in La Jolla Playhouse

You have to come to sushi, it's really fresh. If not at least come for the Gelato. Both you will come back for more when you live in this area because they don't have much competition. The prices aren't so high because we're talking about La Jolla here. I haven't eaten much since Kovid, but I've got a lot to go.

Split a burger, it was great! We ate before going to LA Jolla Playhouse. Recommend when going to the La Jolla Playhouse. Friendly service.
